UI changes, including making it clearer that the file list is "where you are" and the icon panels are "what you're looking at", adding home and sync buttons, grouping tabs that show similar images together, and adding more detailed tool tip help, plus numerous bug fixes related to navigating by making selections or previewing folder contents. Improvements to Manage Volumes command to handle case when existing files are migrated to a new hard disk. Option to delete duplicates by replacing them with hard links. Improvements to Movie Maker. Add release notes and the ability to check for updates to the Help menu.

Fix an issue where indexes could become corrupted when running in automatic mode. Fixes related to handling of hardlinked files. Detect when timestamps of old zip files are using local time. Better handling of multiple volumes with the same name and of TimeMachine drives (they are now added to the list of volumes but disabled by default). Show Windows volume serial number for FAT32 drives.

Speed up thumbnail extraction for long movies. Add popup menu command to search within selected directory. Clarify what is or isn't a file name extension. Improved filtering via toolbar, including ability to exclude offline files and archive entries and better filtering on file type. Add web links to Help menu. Avoid double counting disk space of hardlinked files. Perform incremental search as soon as you type in to search field. Add checkbox to flatten folder contents and view all files anywhere below the selected directory. Fixes related to viewing duplicate files and navigating via icon panel.
